Observe HIV Surveillance training for Eastern Mediterranean then provide feedback

Issue: Countries in the Eastern Mediterranean region have different needs from Africa. Their HIV epidemic is concentrated, that is, most of the infected individuals are members of high risk populations. Training to date in this region has been minimal for HIV surveillance.

Solution: At this WHO/Eastern Mediterranean training event, we assisted in preparing materials then attended the training to explain our evaluation methodology, observe, collect changes to the materials and interview participants. We followed up with a 6-month evaluation report.
