Introduced the CDC Surveillance curriculum for countries with Generalized Epidemics

Issue: CDC/GAP was requested to introduce the new Surveillance Curriculum at a regional training of trainers for countries with generalized HIV epidemics, where the epidemic has spread to the general population.

Solution: We co-facilitated a training of trainers event on new Surveillance Curriculum modules in Accra, Ghana for participants from East and West Africa. The training was hosted by WHO/Africa Regional Office (AFRO) and Ministry of Health Ghana.

“I like the new modules! I like the Warm-Up Questions best.”
- WHO/AFRO, HIV Officer
